Headteacher's Welcome

"Flourishing Through Friendship"

Welcome to Stilton Church of England Primary Academy.

This is a very caring and happy school where everyone works together to provide a stimulating, supportive learning environment in which adults and children succeed. Our website aims to give you a feel of our school as well as providing you with important information and directing you to other sites that may be of use.

Please spend time exploring our school and parental information section or if you prefer you can contact us directly.

Please browse through the coloured tabs at the top of the site to gain a small window into some of the experiences on offer. We hope that you find our site useful, informative and that the children enjoy sharing their learning with you. If you wish to have paper copies of any documents on this site then please contact the school office:

As a school we value each one of our children as unique children of God and work hard to try and recognise the individual talents and skills they have.  As a church school, we provide learning opportunities to the children within the context of a nurturing Christian environment, instilling Christian values so that children thrive within school. Our Christian vision is to 'Flourish Through Friendship' and we strive to ensure that our children, staff, Governors and parents live out this vision.

We recognise the challenges that the Ofsted report (June 2017) highlighted and the judgement that, at the time, our school required Special Measures. Since then the school has been reborn, with a new and galvanised leadership team, improvements in teaching and learning and attitudes to learning, new teachers as well as the tremendous support of our Governors, Church and parent community, we are succeeding and are proud of the work that we have done.  We look forward to the return of Ofsted to show them all that has been achieved.

If you are a parent and are looking for a place for your child, or you are a teacher or support staff applying for a vacancy, please do call the office on 01733 240480 or email and we can arrange a visit for you.
