Flourishing Through Friendship

Our aim is to provide an inspirational education for the children and families of Stilton in which every child is valued and nurtured, regardless of their gender, ethnicity or economic background so that they aspire, flourish and achieve their full potential.

Welcome to the SEND page of our school website. On this page you will find information about how we support any children with SEND in school and our school policies for SEND. I am currently developing this page to offer parents and carers more guidance about specific special educational needs and ways to support your child at home so please check back regularly for more information.

If this page hasn't been able to answer all your questions and there is further information that you require, then please do not hesitate to contact me via the school office on 01733 240480.

Kind Regards,

Mrs Laura Turner
Executive SENDCo

Support and Referrals Process Flow Chart:
This is the process that we follow at Stilton if any concerns are raised about a child in school who may require SEND support.

Please see Policies section below for a downloadable version of this document 'Referrals and Processes flow chart'.

Local Offer:

Parents/Carers are able to find out more information about Special Educational Needs and Disabilities at Cambridgeshire’s The Local Offer. The local offer is a 'front door' to information from education, health and social care about the provision that is available for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families.
Click here to access the Local Offer.

Please be aware that some of the policies below are currently still draft and should you require any further information, please contact the school directly.
