Teachers: Miss Mark and Miss Rudd
Welcome to Hedgehog Class!
Please find lots of learning links available for the purpose of home-learning on your google class page.
Children should complete Maths, Reading and Writing on a daily basis.
Research based activities should follow. A few suggestions:
History (WW2), Geography(Continents/maps ect.), Science (Sir Iasac Newton, Light) and any others they find interesting...
Although quite limited, there are lots of ways to keep active during this time, there are many video links to workouts/dance routines/football skills. If weather permitting, one walk/jog/cycle per day outdoors, is advised for families of the same household.
It is a great opportunity to develop artistically. Music, Art, French and Writing are all highly recommended to keep your brain busy and developing...
Please keep an eye on your class page, for activities and recommendations.
Remember to post/email your work and activities, we love to see what your all up to!
Please stay safe and well.

Knowledge organisers - Science and History
Please make sure the children have their P.E. kits in school all week (indoor and outdoor). We have P.E. on a Monday and Thursday.
Children are not allowed to wear earrings for P.E. - please ensure these are removed on the above days.
Reading and Homework
Please ensure the children are reading daily at home. Below is a link outlining 100 books recommended for all children to read before leaving primary school:
Which one's have you read?
Maths homework needs to be completed weekly. The children will receive 36 questions a week, the expectation is that they only do this for half an hour (this is the allocated time they will have during SATs).
Additionally, the children will be given a SPaG or reading paper this term to complete weekly. This should take no longer then 45 minutes.
If you have any questions or concerns about this please feel free to ask.
