How to help at home
Spelling, reading and target times tables should be completed daily.
Use Maths targets to practice subtraction and finding the difference.
Encourage your child to do extra research about parts of a subject which interest them, using books or the internet.

In line with DfES guidance your child can expect thirty minutes of homework each night – this includes spelling practice, independent reading and individual target times tables.
Although we aim to follow the timetable below, it may alter from time to time.
- Monday: Reading / Spellings
- Tuesday: Reading
- Wednesday: Reading
- Thursday: Reading
- Friday: Reading / Maths
Literacy and further homework will be given as appropriate.
PE will be on Tuesday and Thursday this term.
Children need to bring their PE kit to school on Mondays, including trainers, and it needs to be taken home on Friday to be washed.
Long hair is to be tied back and earrings removed.
Please make sure your child is always prepared for the weather to allow them to fully take part in our outdoor-learning based curriculum this term including:
a labeled water bottle; suitable coat/shoes in wet or cold weather.
